Sharp-eyed viewers on Resetera.com spotted an Amazon listing for Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition earlier this morning.
While details of the listing are vague, the Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition appears to be released for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, with no physical PC version becoming available. Speculation would assume that the Premium Edition would include some more digital content for Grand Theft Auto, presumably some Shark Cards for use in Grand Theft Auto Online. Another possibility is the arrival of Xbox One X and PS4 Pro enhancements for Grand Theft Auto V, which have yet to be released for the 4K-gaming consoles. That said, charging gamers for 4K enhancements seems a little odd; especially with most games being offered these enhancements free of charge.
Other users on Resetera have speculated that this may mark the arrival of Grand Theft Auto V for the Nintendo Switch, what with L.A. Noire‘s uprising on Nintendo’s platform. It’s hard to say exactly what the Premium Edition will entail, but we expect to hear more news come from Rockstar within the coming weeks.
Grand Theft Auto V is already available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and most recently, the PC.
