EA is bringing a remastered version of Burnout Paradise to current-generation consoles next month.
Following multiple rumors, Criterion Games is developing a port of Burnout Paradise, previously released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on January 22nd, 2008. Ten years later, Burnout Paradise Remastered will be released for the Xbox One and Playstation 4, with promise of 4K visuals at 60 frames-per-second for those who own an Xbox One X or Playstation 4 Pro.
The game studio mentioned that the game would be available for PC “later this year”. Something notable is the lack of a Nintendo Switch announcement, as Burnout Paradise Remastered would likely do well on Nintendo’s platform, especially with Nintendo’s focus towards family friendly entertainment.
All of the game’s downloadable content, including the eight add-on game packs released in its lifetime will be included with this release, marking the first time that the Big Surf Island add-on is playable on PC.
Xbox One owners that own a subscription to EA Access will be among the first to play the title when it becomes available on March 9th.
Burnout Paradise Remastered releases for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on March 16th, 2018.
