Monster Hunter: World‘s DLC train keeps moving along, as Capcom is set to bring Devil May Cry’s Dante to the popular action RPG. The newest addition to Monster Hunter was announced alongside the launch trailer for Devil May Cry HD Collection.
According to Capcom, players will not only be able to play as Dante, but they’ll have access to a new selection of weapons.
“You’ll get to fight hellish foes in Monster Hunter: World to earn this devious combination of the Force Edge and Alastor,” Capcom said in the announcement. “In Monster Hunter, that weapon falls in the Charge Blade category, and typically features a hefty shield that, when combined with its matching sword, can turn into a massive axe.”
Capcom says the content will be available to all Monster Hunter players, and it sounds like it will be free of charge. According to the announcement, players will need to complete an Event Quest at the right time to unlock Dante.
Dante’s debut into monster hunting doesn’t have a release date, but progress is far enough along to show off in an announcement trailer.
Monster Hunter: World is currently available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release coming this fall. Devil May Cry HD Collection is on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today.
