Five new job listings from Blizzard Entertainment announce that they are developing an “new, unannounced Diablo project“.
The company is looking for a VFX Artist, Technical Artist, Senior Dungeon Artist, Environment Artist, and Dungeon Artist to work on a brand new Diablo project. There are no details on what this project is, whether or not it is Diablo 3’s sequel, or perhaps a spinoff to the popular series. Rest assured, we should hear more information during BlizzCon later this year.
Blizzard’s most recent Diablo title, Diablo 3, was rumored to be ported to the Nintendo Switch. Rumors regarding a Nintendo Switch release started when Blizzard posted an image to their Twitter, showing off a Diablo light switch. Blizzard later shut the rumor down by saying “We can assure you we’re not that clever“. Not long after that, a retailer based in the UK listed the game for the Nintendo Switch, so we may hear more information regarding a Nintendo Switch release in the coming months.
Diablo 3 is available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PC.
