Those who have pre-ordered the game will gain access to the Fallout 76 “B.E.T.A.” when it launches in October. The B.E.T.A., spelled out Break-It Early Test Application according to Bethesda, will be used to test the game’s online servers to make sure they are optimized for the full release in November. Bethesda claims that the beta will be used to test the game’s online servers, with Fallout 76’s direction toward multiplayer gaming – a first for the series.
Right now, the only way to get access to the beta is by pre-ordering a copy of the game at select retailers. From what we gathered, EBGames/Gamestop, Best Buy, Target (US) and Amazon offer the pre-order beta.
Fallout 76 arrives on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 14th.
