Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption will have an online component, similar to Grand Theft Auto Online.
Red Dead Online is included with every copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, but will launch after the game’s release. The public beta for Red Dead Online is said to launch in November, and the development team fully expects “some turbulence at launch“.
Features and future content for Red Dead Online has yet to be announced, but given GTA Online’s popularity, we predict the online community for Red Dead Redemption 2 will live long past it’s official release.
Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 27th, 2018, for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
