Its hard to believe that Pokémon Go is well over two years old already. This mobile phenomenon has gotten Pokémon fans both young and old outside hunting for their favorite pocket monsters in the real world since 2016. Over the years Niantic have added lots of new content to their game and it doesn’t look like they are stopping anytime soon.
Last month an entirely new legendary named Meltan was revealed through Pokémon Go and this month we have been blessed with the arrival of even more Pokémon. Thats right. Generation 4 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region are starting to appear in game. Niantic have released a trailer announcing the arrival of starters; Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup. Not only this but the trailer also gives us a glimpse at scary Sinnoh legendary Girantina. Niantic have promised that in the coming weeks, more Sinnoh favorites will be released into the wild “In waves”.
We know that when Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee are released on the Nintendo Switch there will be a transfer feature from Pokémon Go into the game. All of these additions to Pokémon Go will presumably be available for transfer upon the games release and will no doubt look awesome on both docked and handheld modes.
