Just over two years ago Nintendo released a miniature NES console which started a huge gaming trend. It is no secret that ‘classic’ games consoles and games are much loved and sought after especially by those who grew up with them. The NES Mini sold extremely well. So well, in fact, that stocks completely ran out and it took months for many gamers to be able to get their hands on one.
Now Sony have joined the trend with the Playstation Classic. A ‘mini’ variation of the original Playstation. It will come with 20 games and is sure to bring back many beloved memories. So if the recent Spyro and Crash Bandicoot makeovers didn’t quite satisfy that nostalgia hunger then soon you’ll be able to dive into titles such as Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil Directors Cut, Final Fantasy VII, Rayman and Tekken 3 amongst many more.
The console will come packaged with two controllers. They are modelled to look exactly like the original Playstation controllers and will make for some great couch co-op gameplay this Christmas.
The Playstation Classic will be released in just under a weeks time. Be sure to pick up your blast to the past on December 3rd.
