Xbox Live’s Games With Gold program is kicking off the new year strong, with plenty of AAA titles to satisfy your gaming collection.
Starting on New Years Day, Celeste & Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are available, free of charge, to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Celeste, the independent hit that swept the industry, was nominated for Game of the Year and took Best Independent Game at Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards 2018. If you have yet to play this masterpiece, we highly recommend it, especially now that it will be free throughout the first half of January.
On January 16th, Gold subscribers will unlock World Rally Championship 6 and the Xbox 360 version of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 2. WRC 6 will blend into February’s Games With Gold selection, while Far Cry 2 is available through the end of the month.

A reminder that Xbox Live Gold Subscribers have until the end of the year to pick up Mercenaries II for the original Xbox.
