Giraffe and Annika, a musically charged adventure from developer Atelier Mimina and publisher PLAYISM has launched on PC via the Steam store, with Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 joining the ensemble later on in 2020.
Annika, a bright-eyed girl with cat ears and Giraffe, a cat-boy with an old soul team up and travel together to recover Annika’s lost memories. Set against a Manga inspired comic narrative, our aim is to help the duo to recover three star fragments that are hidden deep within the dungeons of Spica Island. Each gem collected gives Annika a new power which can unlock previously unreachable areas and opens up opportunities to unlock additional outfits and cat-tastic meow-sterpices of art that can be viewed within the local museum.
From the lead designer of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, Giraffe and Annika features hand crafted beat battles in the same tempo and style as Elite Beat Agents. Face off in operatic boss battles against enemies such as The Crab King, who is a colossal Crustacean and Lily, the wily Witch of the forbidden forest. Synchronise your attacks to each bosses custom track to vanquish them back to where they came.
Giraffe and Annika will be available to purchase on PC via the Steam store for $19.99 and will be available in English, Japanese and Chinese (Simplfied and Traditional) languages.
