There are all different types of racing, but no matter the reason, or the style, there is always one thing everyone aims for– to be number one. Except in a charity run. When it comes to the pros, however, “if you’re not first, you’re last”, and the same can be said for e-sports. However, with the pandemic, people have no pro-races to watch. What better way to have them race “professionally” themselves?
Luckily, Deep Silver has announced the new addition to Codemasters’ simulation series, F1 2020. The new game will give players their first chance at creating their own organisation within F1 using its all-new My Team Mode.
This new mode comes alongside new options for “custom season lengths and circuit rosters” to give players more control in building their legacy. Being the official video game of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship, it might just be the best way to get your F1 fix. You can check out the trailer below.
Deep Silver are offering both a standard edition and a F1 2020: Michael Shumacher Deluxe Edition. The deluxe edition will be bolstered with exclusive content and 3 days early access. The extra content includes new themed car liveries, driver customisation items, including a new podium celebration.
It will also come with the ability to drive as Michael Shumacher in 4 of his iconic cars: Jordan 191, Benetton B194, Benetton B195, and the Ferrari F1-2000. To celebrate F1’s 70th anniversary, those who purchase the Deluxe or the F1 2020: F1 Seventy Edition will get exclusive in-game items. Selected retailers will also offer a limited edition F1 2020 Steelbook for those collectors out there.
If you are itching to get out on the race track, you can look forward to July 10th, 2020. F1 2020 will be releasing on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
