Hello Games has announced that No Man’s Sky will launch in June next year.
After it’s reveal during the Spike Video Game Awards in 2013, Hello Games stole the show with the reveal of No Man’s Sky, a new indie game promising never-ending content for the next generation of consoles. How much content exactly? “There are 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets in the universe” according to a post on Playstation’s website.
“This is a game that means everything to our team. I have wanted to play something like No Man’s Sky since I was a kid,” said Sean Murray, Lead Designer at Hello Games “and many of you have told me you feel the same. For all of us, we get one shot to make this game and we can’t mess it up. Our small team knows the world is watching, we’ve come from the bottom and we don’t take it lightly.”
No Man’s Sky will launch for the Playstation 4 and PC in June 2016. There is still no word on if the game will be making its way to the Xbox One but we hope to hear more in the coming months leading up to the game’s release.
