Xbox has came out with huge detailed updates regarding the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundle! Following last month’s announcement that xCloud would be joining Xbox Game Pass, more details have official been revealed regarding the addition and more!
Coming on September 15th, 2020, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will gain the ability to play more than 100 amazing games from the cloud on Android devices! This also includes the launch of the beta in 22 different markets; this will help with stability and Xbox scales the cloud gaming to become even bigger!
The Future of Gaming
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will have a shared library of games, giving them the ability to play on their choice of Xbox, PC and even mobile – together! Such games include Minecraft Dungeons, Destiny 2, Gears 5, Tell Me Why and many more! Even brand new Xbox Game Studios games such as Halo Infinite & Senua’s Saga: HellBlade 2 will be available on the service on day one!
Xbox is committed to bringing the same gaming experience to the cloud as would be present on the Xbox or PC platforms. Player’s gaming profiles, friends achievements, control settings and game saves will be transferable between Xbox, PC & Mobile. The goal of such will also add a new meaning to couch co-op, as one player could be on an Xbox while the other could be playing on a mobile device playing the same game.
To help enhance the xCloud experience; Xbox is partnering with several companies to create helpful new accessories designed for mobile devices. Razer, PowerA, 8BitDo & Nacon have all designed a variety of phone clips that adapt to different mobile devices. Not to mention that all games can be played with Xbox One Bluetooth Wireless & PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controllers.
New players can join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 for the first month, and then $14.99 a month afterwards. The bundle includes: access to more than 100 excellent games on console & PC, Xbox Live Gold, exclusive discounts, deals, perks & of course xCloud on September 15th.
