There doesn’t seem to be a week recently that has gone by without any news breaking in regards to Halo Infinite. This week is sticking to the theme, with news of a developer team up.
Sperasoft is set to team-up with 343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios to help develop aspects of Halo Infinite. Whilst Sperasoft doesn’t seem to be a well known developer, their credentials span over 16 years of co-developing several AAA titles. Sperasoft has previously worked on titles such as; Call of Duty: Black Ops, Star Wars: Battlefront, League of Legends, Star Wars: The Old Republic just to name a few.
The studios team-up on Halo Infinite will span across “multiple development mandates” and will see them developing components for Halo Infinite and helping to refine the gameplay experience. Sperasoft’s Chief Commercial Officer, Denis Larkin has shared that it is “an honour” to work on and help develop the Halo franchise. He then goes on to say that his team are excited at being part of Halo’s next generation plans and that the franchise is the “most famous FPS in the world”.
Halo Infinite was first announced at E3 2018. With a world-first gameplay revealed during the Xbox Showcase in July. Halo Infinite is set to become the most hotly anticipated launch title for the upcoming Xbox Series X and will launch along side the console this year. The game will continue the adventures of the Master Chief and will continue the story that was last seen in Halo 5: Guardians.
