The Touhou Project spin-off game Gensokyo Night Festival has received its first major content update! This new update adds a new stage, bosses, mini-bosses and some fan requests as well! Let’s jump in!
Firstly, Stage 2 has been added to the game, and is set in the Former Capital, which is at this point deep underground. With this, the stage concept is set around a Festival, featuring amazing lighting effects and high contrast to the dark setting. Popular characters Rin Kaenbyou and Utsuho Reiuji will appear as bosses in the stage, with some mini-bosses as well!
Gensokyo Night Festival’s satisfying combo action is now being made more accessible than ever! Arriving due to popular demand is keyboard configuration, which is a huge win for all the fans who prefer using a keyboard!
Gensokyo Night Festival Stage 2 is releasing on Steam for $12.99 on August 28th 2020! Visit the official Steam Page to keep up to date on announcements and vote for chibi character you’d like to see when Stage 3 releases later this year!
