EA has just revealed Star Wars Battlefront‘s new DLC pack and its release date. “Outer Rim” will be released April 5th 2016 and will consist of four new maps, along with new weapons, tech, cards, one new game mode and two new heroes to play as. The Outer Rim DLC will cost 15 USD on both the Playstation and Xbox live stores. Of course, anyone who has purchased the Battlefront season pass will receive the Outer Rim pack for free.
The new game mode: “Extraction” will be a capture-the-flag type multiplayer mode. Rebel forces will have to deliver a shipment of resources to their transportation ship, racing to deliver them before either time runs out or the Imperial forces defeat them. The two new heroes releasing alongside it are Sullustan rebel Nien Nunb and Episode VI’s infamous Rodian bounty hunter Greedo.
