In a shocking turn of events, Conspiracy Entertainment has revealed that they’re remastering their smash-hit Wii gem Billy The Wizard for the Wii U, and most surprisingly, the upcoming NX console at launch, making it one of the first confirmed games for Nintendo’s latest console.
Renowned for tight controls, stellar graphics, and diverse maps, all set to an epic musical score composed by John Williams, Billy The Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing received also received much acclaim for its unique cast of wonderfully written characters, each with their own personal struggles, fears, and hidden problems, making every character feel truly alive and ooze personality.
More than just a simple port, the remaster features one new map, updated visuals, and new storyline paths in the game’s campaign mode. Billy The Wizard HD will be launching alongside the Nintendo NX at a retail price of $79.99 USD.
In other news, DS masterpiece Dino Master is also receiving an HD re-release, but no details beyond that are currently known.
