Seacorp Technologies have announced that 3D physics based racer Kinetic Edge will be released next month. The announcement has come with a press release alongside an official trailer for the versatile game.
Kinetic Edge is based around players manoeuvring through a dazzling neon landscape as different shapes traversing various challenges. With the success of similar multiplayer games like Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, it certainly has potential to become popular.
Kinect Edge treats the player to what can only be described as “crazy golf meets Tron” says founder Richard Seabrook in the press release. Playable on your own or with friends, the game is split up into a series of modes that are being constantly added to and improved.
In addition, there is a series of other modes. The gauntlet mode is a 7 minute onslaught of challenges with no lives or checkpoints, for that serious challenge. There is also a crazy golf mode for casual multiplayer fun. One thing is consistent throughout the game modes, which is keeping fun and simplicity at the core to each.
Furthermore, Richard Seabrook boasts the main strength of the game is the following, “The game finds that brilliant sweet spot between being a perfect package of fun for those wanting to play with their friends, but also serving as an addictive set of challenges for single players as well.”
With more content available after launch, Kinetic Edge is coming to Steam PC February 5th, 2021. The game will be retailing at $12.99/£9.99/€9.99 depending on region.
