After we kick the disastrous year that was 2020 out the door, you’d think nothing else would be able to scare you, not even 2021, but that is where you are wrong. Silver Chains, a psychological horror game developed by Headup Studios is making its official debut for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in January 2021.
Silver Chains follows Peter, a man who wakes up in an abandoned 19th century mansion after a car crash. He has no idea where he is or how he got here. All he knows is that something terrible happened here, and he is not alone. Somewhere in these rotting halls is a monster, and it’s already hunting him.
Silver Chains features an atmospheric horror experience with photo-realistic & detailed graphics that bring the interior of an old abandoned mansion to life. This is combined with an eerie soundtrack that’s carefully and masterfully designed to fully immerse you into the game.
At its very core—Silver Chains is a story exploration game with puzzle and action elements. You will be able to unravel the mysteries of the huge mansion and gain entry into its hidden areas by solving puzzles, but beware the dangers lurking in the dark.
This evil you cannot fight. Run for your life or find a place to hide, as you experience the pure and intense feelings of horror whilst trying to escape whatever evil is desperately chasing you down. Whatever you do, don’t turn back if you feel it tap your shoulder.
Silver Chains is currently available on PC via Steam for $24.99, and if you aren’t a PC gamer, you will be able to get it on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch from January 29th, 2021. Don’t miss one of the best psychological horrors of the year.
