Xbox have unveiled a closed Beta for Cloud Gaming which will expand the Xbox experience to more devices. This unveiling follows on from the announcement made last year, and will be available in 22 nations.
With Cloud Gaming being a closed Beta, it is strictly invite only. As part of the announcement, it has been confirmed the invites will be for Xbox Games Pass Ultimate members only. This has been done to allow feedback to “help us shape the future of cloud gaming” according to the Xbox Play Website.
In addition, Cloud Gaming for new devices will expand the existing network for players to enjoy Xbox games. This can allow shared data between devices and the ability to play the same game in a variety of ways. The move comes to further the vision of Xbox to ensure the “opportunity to make cloud gaming approachable to more players.”
Invites for the Beta are being sent out from April 20th 2021, with Games Pass Ultimate users encouraged to check their emails. A list of compatible devices include PC and Mobile via browsers, with further details available on the Xbox Play Website.
