Fortune Teller Rose has been introduced to the games roster as it’s newest fighter for Season 5 of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. Rose is the second fighter to be introduced to the 5th season of Street Fighter V: Champion Edition following on from Dan Hibiki’s introduction back in February 2021.
Fans of the Street Fighter series will recognize Rose from previous titles such as Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter IV. However, this time Rose returns with a plethora of new powers and moves.
While Rose retains a large amount of her iconic skill set from previous titles such as her “Soul Satellite” and “Soul Illusion”, she is now equipped with the brand-new “Soul Fortune” skill which allows her to draw one of four tarot cards which will either debuff her opponent or buff herself.
Along with “Soul Fortune”, Rose has also been equipped with a new V-Trigger move known as “Soul Dimension” which allows her to teleport to one of 3 places on screen to offer a range of options for either offensive or defensive players.
Rose and her new stage, Marina of Fortune, can be purchased separately using cash or fight money, but can also be acquired together by purchasing the Season 5 Character Pass or the Season 5 Premium Pass.
Along with the announcement of Rose being added to Street Fighter V, the Spring update also revealed that characters Oro and Akira would be making their way to the game in the summer of 2021. More information surrounding the season yet to be announced 5th character is still yet to be revealed.
