The original Xbox released on November 15th, 2001, changing the gaming industry forever. Now, nearly two decades later, Xbox has begun celebrating a little early with fun community interactions, new loot and open registration for this year’s Xbox Fanfest!
With the Halo franchise sharing the same anniversary, 343 Industries has joined the celebration with new artwork; bridging Halo: Combat Evolved with the upcoming Halo Infinite! With the next Inside Infinite and E3 2021 just around the corner, who knows what else they’ll do in celebration!
Kicking off the celebration, many new 20th Anniversary items have been added to Xbox‘s store! The combination with Halo loot is sure to make fans happy, as they wear merch to celebrate the anniversary! They’ve also opened registration for Xbox Fest 2021, granting access to exclusive Xbox items to those who register!
Xbox is encouraging fans worldwide to share their favourite Xbox memories, stories, collections and more using #Xbox20 on social media. Additionally, their social media pages will be asking a ton of questions for fans to interact with; and will be highlighting answers through November 20th, 2021!

Xbox will be hosting many community events, giveaways and more to celebrating their 20th Anniversary up through November 15th, 2021! With Halo Infinite releasing this year, it should be a wonderful 6 months for Xbox and Halo fans alike!
