The ESA & International Game Developers Association (IGDA) have announced a partnership for E3 2021! This partnership will give indie developers opportunities to showcase their work at E3 2021 & beyond!
The IGDA is the world’s largest non-profit membership organization helping indie games, so this is a big deal for smaller developers. The partnership will give IGDA members special packages and opportunities that will uplift indie developers at E3 2021; expanding the opportunities throughout 2022 and beyond!
“The IGDA is thrilled to partner with the ESA to uplift indies during this year’s E3 and beyond,” Executive Director of the IGDA, Renee Gittin, said in the official report. “Indies provide heartfelt stories and groundbreaking creativity that lead progress of our industry. It is an honor to help indies onto this grand stage for the first time so they can share their efforts and inspiration worldwide.”
The ESA has also revealed more information about what E3 2021 will bring to the table! This year, E3 will be an all-digital event using an online portal & app for attendees to use and interact with! Additionally, most of the game companies attending has been announced; with further details about the event itself! Check the links attached to learn more about the details!
