Welcome to the biggest instalment of The Weekly News Roundup so far! E3 2021 has kicked into full gear and will be continuing through the week, so we’ll save those news pieces for a separate roundup. This roundup will cover all the other gaming news – including the Summer Game Fest! Let’s get started!

New Releases
The 2D side-scrolling action RPG, Lost Epic, has released on Steam Early Access for Windows, PC. The surprise launch was announced as part of the INDIE Live Expo 2021 and dropped with a trailer that showcased the current build of the game. Learn all you need to know about the game here!
For those who are already in the whimsical world that developers 5minlab created, SMASH LEGENDS is adding new content. The Multiplayer Action PvP will be bolstered by a few interesting things, characters and more! Take a look!
Chivalry 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the first-person slasher, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, is out now! You can watch the launch trailer below, which shows off the epic, intense, and often bloody combat of the medieval multiplayer battlefield. Check out our coverage on the new release!
Following a long and eventful journey, Edge of Eternity is now available for purchase on Steam. A development cycle that included a crowdfunding campaign and a dedicated time inside early access, Midgar Studio’s is happy to arrive at such a monumental occasion finally. On the 9th of June 2021, the VTuber community received a saddening announcement from the official Hololive account. This was the news that Kiryu Coco, the dragon idol of Hololive’s 4th generation would be graduating on the 1st of July 2021. Learn more about it here.

The Summer Game Fest was full of a ton of exciting world premiers and updates to upcoming games, and of course, they saved the best for last. The gameplay & release date for the highly anticipated FromSoftware game Elden Ring has been revealed! Yes, it is real! Check it out right here!

Everyone’s favourite chainsaw-handed protagonist Ash Williams is back in Evil Dead: The Game. But this time, he’s bringing his friends from the franchise with him. Better yet, the trailer was narrated by Bruce Campbell himself. Take a look at this epic game here!
Bloodhunt is a thrilling third-person free-to-play battle royale set in the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade universe.
