The Summer Game Fest was full of a ton of exciting world premiers and updates to upcoming games, and of course, they saved the best for last. The gameplay for the highly anticipated FromSoftware game Elden Ring has been revealed! Yes, it is real!
Written & created by Hidetaka Miyazaki & George R. R. Martin, Elden Ring is a dark new fantasy world; the biggest FromSoftware has developed. Profound lore is riddled throughout the trailer, providing vague yet fascinating story teases that the game will certainly explore.
Elden Ring follows a “Tarnished”, who searches for the Elden Ring for reasons yet to be seen. Those brave enough to embark on such a quest will encounter horrific, colossal beings and more! Players will journey through a massive open world and will uncover castles, ancient ruins and dark secrets waiting to be found.
The incredibly challenging yet rewarding gameplay that FromSoftware is known for will be heavily featured in the game. With highly skilled based enemies, gruesome beasts and gigantic bosses, Elden Ring looks to be one of the most brutal fantasy games yet!
