During The Ubisoft Forward Show, which kicked off E3 2021, featured some great content updates. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which is well into its first year, is getting an entire second year of content and updates! This is the first time in franchise history for a game to do this.
Players have already gotten the opportunity to play through the first expansion, Wrath of the Druids, released last month. In it, you travel to Ireland and soon move into the second expansion, The Siege of Paris.
The Siege of Paris is set in one of the most infamous conquests of Viking history. Vikings raided the countryside to what is now known as modern-day France. Additionally, successfully raided the once impenetrable kingdom of Francia!
Better Gear, Fresh Content
Amongst the new expansion, players will be able to get their hands on new weapons; such as one-handed swords, plus brand new abilities, gear, and skill for you to choose from. Fighting new enemy types with the new additions will make your raids feel fresh.
Not only are the players getting tons of free updates to keep the game feeling new and fresh, but this fall, all owners of the game will have the chance to enjoy educational expansions. These are called Discovery Tours, which will teach you about the Viking Age, Ancient Greed, and Ancient Egypt!
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC via uPlay & Epic Games, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The base game is $39.99 and expansions require an additional purchase to play. They can be purchased via Season Pass or single-time purchase.
