Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was leaked ahead of it’s official announcement, with a flyer leaked from Target. After the trailer leaked (Posted below) earlier this morning, Activision decided to officially announce the game ahead of their initial reveal time scheduled at 10:30 PDT this morning.
Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare brings the Call of Duty franchise to a whole new setting: Space. Featuring a mixture of new weapons and new abilities, players will have to traverse through a new campaign and multiplayer experience in zero gravity.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will include the campaign from 2007’s best-selling title Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, as well as a selection of 10 multiplayer maps which will include “Crash”, “Backlot” and “Crossfire”. To our knowledge, the only way to obtain this game is by purchasing one of the special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare marked below:
- Legacy Edition & Digital Legacy Edition ($79.99 USD): Includes a copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
- Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99 USD): Includes a copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and the season pass for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
- Legacy Pro Edition ($119.99 USD): Includes a copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the game’s Season Pass in a Steelbook case, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, game’s soundtrack and digital items
This will mark the first time a Call of Duty title has been exclusively available for the next-generation platforms, officially skipping out on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will launch alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on November 4th, 2016 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
