Update 10:05AM: A new image from Reddit has confirmed that Battlefield 1 will be launching on October 18th, 2016.
Pre-ordering the game will get you the ‘Hellfighter Pack” which contains items inspired by the “Heroic Harlem Hellfighter Infantry Regiment”.
Original: The next Battlefield title may be called Battlefield 1 if a leak from a Reddit user is to be believed.
The Reddit user idryriver posted an image (shown below) containing some of the marketing material sent to a retail location. The picture shows off the official Battlefield art shown earlier today, along with the title “Battlefield 1”. The name of the game aligns with the game’s rumored setting, supposedly taking place in World War 1.
The official worldwide reveal is set to happen at 4PM EST today. We will be sure to post coverage once we hear more information.
