Ubisoft‘s Davide Solvani, creative director of the upcoming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, recently showcased a deep dive of the upcoming adventure. The showcases revealed the composers, some of which are newcomers to the Mario + Rabbids series.
The newcomers include veteran Japanese composer, Yoko Shimomura who worked on series such as Kingdom Hearts and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. Another composing joining the team is Gareth Cocker, who composed Ori And The Blind Forest and a third of Halo Infinite Campaign’s soundtrack. Last but not least, Grant Kirkhope will also be returning after composing this title’s predecessor.
Mario + Rabbids: Spark Of Hope is an upcoming turn-based strategy game. It’s a cosmic epic about Mario and the gang stopping Cursa’s evil force from taking over the galaxy. They must discover mysterious secrets, and complete engaging quests that will ultimately free the powerful sparks.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will release on October 20th, 2020 exclusively on Nintendo Switch with Standard, Cosmic, and Gold editions. The Gold Edition includes the Season Pass for players that want to continue the adventure. Finally, the preorder bonus will include the Megabug weapon Pack; themed after the main antagonist of the previous entry.
