Anyone who’s had to move in their life knows that it’s not much fun, right? But what if the process included ragdoll physics, and you could throw your couch right out the window and into your moving truck – much better! The original Moving Out game took this premise and capitalized on it to hilarious extents. Today, the sequel Moving Out 2 is available, with even more hijinks in store!
When playing Moving Out, you become a F.A.R.T. (Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician – of course) with Smooth Moves moving company. You help the citizens of Packmore pack up and move their precious belongings from place to place, handling them with (not much) care. How you get the job done is up to you- throw the lawn furniture over the pool to get it to the other side quicker? Genius. Create an assembly line and toss boxes from person to person till they reach the truck? Brilliant. Just make sure that you get as much of the furniture and belongings into that moving truck before your time limit is up.
Moving Out 2 comes to us from Team 17 and SMG Studio. Team 17 is well known for many games, but among them is another hit-wacky multi-player game series, Overcooked. It’s safe to say if you enjoyed Overcooked, then Moving Out would be right up your alley. Allowing you to play solo, local co-op, or cross-play online multi-player to assemble a team of up to four total F.A.R.T.’s. No need to worry about getting your characters mixed up on the screen as the game involves a very unique cast of characters to choose from, including – a very excited alien, a sneaker, a taco (jamming out to some music- Salsa perhaps?), a witch’s cauldron, a frog prince, a goldfish, a human, and many more.
Moving Out 2 is available today on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
