After the unbelievable success of South Park: The Stick Of Truth, Ubisoft has finally revealed more information regarding the new title, South Park: The Fractured But Whole which was revealed during last year’s E3..
The preview started with a pandemic style trailer, which turned out to be a misdirect as The Coon pans into view. Yes, it’s a superhero spoof this time, as Matt and Trey went on to show that as the new kid in town, you can choose from several different classes, a Flash-esque speedster on display today.
The combat is much more immersive. You are able to position yourself for ranged or melee fighting instead of remaining stationary. You can hide behind cover or even hit enemies into objects or allies. Cinematic special effects return, where you can even control space and time to bring about your enemies’ downfall.
The original South Park game went though a plethora of blockades that held it back, including being transferred from game publishers THQ to Ubisoft. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is scheduled to launch for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on December 8th, 2016.
