This Thursday will mark the 25th Anniversary since the original Sonic the Hedgehog game debuted on the SEGA Genesis on June 23rd, 1991. Since it’s release, Sonic has been featured in hundreds of Video Games and TV shows, with Sonic the Hedgehog even making an appearance in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Sega’s next Sonic game Sonic Boom Fire & Ice is scheduled to launch for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on September 27th, 2016.
