The head of Xbox himself, Phil Spencer, has confirmed that Keyboard and Mouse support will be making it’s way to the Xbox One sometime in the near future.
In a Twitter discussion, Phil Spencer began talking about the features regarding the Xbox One playing PC Games. @Igriao on Twitter replied with: “For this, Xbox need mouse support,”  which left the Head of Xbox stating:
@lgriao @PNF4LYFE @Tak225Th Yep, keyboard and mouse support for Xbox would need to be there for this to work, those aren’t far away.

While the Xbox One does feature keyboard support, it doesn’t make great use of this feature as it is only be compatible with text based applications such as Internet Explorer and Messages. Adding mouse support would enable the console players to fully experience genres such as First-Person Shooters, Real-Time Strategy & MOBAs on Xbox One.
