Microsoft has announced their schedule for Gamescom 2016.

Microsoft has confirmed that they will not be holding the traditional media briefing this year as they will instead be focusing on improving the “Xbox Fanfest” program for fans across the world.
“While we will not be hosting a media briefing this year, we’re planning a new and more intimate Xbox FanFest experience for our fans across Europe and worldwide attending Gamescom 2016. We will be sharing more details on our Gamescom 2016 Xbox FanFest soon.”
At this year’s E3, Microsoft lifted the curtain on the Project Scorpio, a new console scheduled to launch late 2017. While details about Microsoft’s upcoming console are scarce, we do know that it will be compatible with all Xbox One games and accessories.
Gamescom 2016 will be taking place in Cologne, Germany from August 17th to August 21st.
