Aiming to put all next-generation multiplayer experiences together in one multiplayer function, developer EA says that Battlefield 1 will be able to link its multiplayer with Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline (both available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One). EA and Dice have been sending emails to players stating Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline will receive updated console interfaces to make this community based dream a reality. This will also make it easier to go from game to game (assuming players own each instalment of Battlefield available for their Next-generation console).
The neat thing is that this allows gives players the capability to build and remain in squads throughout matches while also utilizing a “recommendation engine” to spice up the gameplay via recommendations of new modes and maps. According to EA this new UI should launch with the latest instalment in the Battlefield series (October 21st) and then move onto Battlefield Hardline after.
With excitement bubbling for the release of a new Battlefield title, it is exciting to see the new technologies and ideas being introduced by EA and Dice.
