Playtonic Games have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, Yooka-Laylee, scheduled to hit digital platforms next year.
The new trailer doesn’t show off a lot of new mechanics of features – Rather, an expanded look at what to expect when the game is released in 2017. In the trailer, we see glimpses of brand new, never before seen levels and some of the challenges that players can expect to see upon its final release. You can take a look at the trailer posted below.
As a spiritual successor to the Nintendo 64’s Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee promises to bring 3D platforming back to its roots with easy to understand mechanics and a playful charm. Key members who originally developed Banjo-Kazooie back in 1998 are responsible for designing Yooka-Laylee, such as Grant Kirkhope, who worked on a lot of the title’s music.
Yooka-Laylee is scheduled to arrive in Q1 2017.
