Mortal Kombat XL may be in development for the PC.
Creative Director of NetherRealms Studios, Ed Boon, has posted a very cryptic message on Twitter which indicates that Mortal Kombat XL will be arriving on PC. The tweet posted with a picture of a computer motherboard, says the following:

Taking the capital letters from the tweet spells out “MK XL PC,” which indicates that we will see a formal announcement arrive very soon.
Mortal Kombat XL is currently available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
