Ubisoft’s newest South Park title has been delayed until Q1 2017.
Originally scheduled to launch on December 6th, South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed for undisclosed reasons other than to improve the “Game experience.” The game is being developed in part by series creator’s Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who have had hands in creating the game’s story.
“The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.” Says Ubisoft in a post on the official blog.
Fans can still pre-order the game on digital markets to receive a free copy of South Park: The Stick of Truth for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, or PC.
