Recently, Koei Tecmo, developer of the Dead or Alive series  announced that the VR patch for the newest installment in the Dead or Alive Xtreme Series, Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune has been delayed.
Currently, the update that was supposed to be released has a delay status of “pending”, meaning that Koei Tecmo has not announced a new release date. Â This news comes as a surprise, seeing as the update was initially announced as being available for October 13th. Knowing the company though, this delay should not hinder the community’s ability to enjoy the game as it currently is on the Playstation 4.
Koei Tecmo will announce when the update recieves a release date, though the time of that announcement is also currently unknown.
At this time, the only footage of the VR patch is of a player ogling title character Kasumi, though this reporter is still hopeful for a first person beach volleyball experience.  To watch the gameplay, please click here (warning, can be seen as NSFW).
