More Xbox 360 titles are now backward compatible with the Xbox One, including Valve’s game collection The Orange Box.
The Orange Box joins two other Xbox 360 titles on the list today, Joe Danger 2: The Movie and Galaga Legions. These titles are available through the Xbox Live Marketplace for relatively cheap and give players enough content to well justify the price of the games.
In 2007, Valve brought The Orange Box to all the main platforms, which introduced Half-Life 2 & Team Fortress 2 to consoles. While it was also released for PC, the collection also included a copy of the original Portal game, a title that has won several awards and critical acclaim upon The Orange Box‘s release. The success of Portal, and the sale of The Orange Box, ultimately led to Portal’s sequel, Portal 2, being released in 2011.
The Orange Box is available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
