Fans of the classic World of Warcraft MMO can be glad to hear that the new 7.1.5 patch is launching next week on Tuesday, January 10th.
This update is quite small compared to what is expected with the 7.2 update (which still doesn’t have a release date), but 7.1.5 still delivers the goods. By goods, I’m referring to the fact that it brings Mists of Pandaria content to the game’s Time Walking feature- meaning that a whole new swath of rewards are going to be made available. It also brings back one of my personal favorite features of the game, the Brawler’s Guild. For those who don’t know, the Brawler’s Guild is a single player mode where players get to go up against bosses. 7.1.5 also introduces Micro-Holidays. These are quite literally just little mini holidays that Blizzard is throwing in “just for fun”, and should last for only a few days.
While Blizzard has not yet released full patch notes, players seem to know that major class changes will be included in the patch. The point of this is to improve the admittedly wonky class balance and make each spec even more fun. Good news, secondary stats are also being changed so that new item upgrades will be made accessible.
If you ask me, the update patch 7.1.5 will have plenty to occupy players until 7.2 is released, whenever that is.
World of Warcraft 7.1.5 is set to launch on January 10, 2016.
