It appears that Kingdom Hearts 3 is not releasing in 2017.
Fans may be waiting another whole year before we hear more news about Square’s Kingdom Hearts 3. In an investors document that was uploaded to NeoGaf, Square Enix outlines a list of titles scheduled to appear by the end of 2017 and leading into 2018. The disappointment comes from the missing Kingdom Hearts 3 logo, which seems to be absent in the document completely.
This could mean one of two things. Either, Square Enix isn’t ready to talk about Kingdom Hearts 3’s release date, even to their investors – or – the game has been delayed into late 2018 or later. Other titles scheduled to launch this year include previous releases, such as Final Fantasy XV, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and more.
Over the years, Square Enix has been tantalising fans with the release of Remixes, offering up HD versions of Kingdom Hearts titles released on the Playstation 2and Nintendo 3DS. We hadn’t seen much information roll out about Kingdom Hearts 3 since its E3 reveal in 2013 when the Playstation 4 console was officially unveiled.
Kingdom Hearts 3 has no release window at this time.
