Capcom is bringing Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite to gaming platforms on September 19th, 2017.
For the first time, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will ship with a cinematic single-player story mode, with heroes joining forces to take down Ultron Sigma. This hero speaks for itself, designed as a fusion from Marvel and Capcom’s universes to create an evil monstrosity.
In addition to the news, Capcom revealed that eight new characters would be joining the fray this Fall. They include Ultron (Avengers), Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chun-Li (Street Fighter), Strider Hiryu, and Chris Redfield (Resident Evil).
The game is available in three different editions: Standard, Deluxe, or Collectors. While the standard includes a copy of the game, the deluxe edition will include the 2017 Character Pass, unlocking all six post-launch characters as they are released. Additionally, those who pre-order either copy of the game will receive the Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes for use in-game.
Those who are fortunate enough to snag the game’s Collectors edition will snag the contents in the Deluxe edition but will score four character dioramas of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X and Chun-Li. Also included is Infinity Stone replicas and a steel book case for the game. All of this will retail for $199.99 and is available for pre-order now at select retailers.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on September 19th, 2017 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
