Bungie has officially announced that next week, the servers for Destiny will be down for a few hours.
Players can expect servers to be down for maintenance next week on Thursday, May 4th beginning at 10 AM PT. In their most recent weekly blog post, Bungie speculated that the maintenance would be completed by 2 PM PT on the same day, which means that the shut down shouldn’t last anymore than 4 hours – if everything goes according to plan.
Sadly, Bungie stated that “The server maintenance will not introduce any content changes or gameplay impact,” meaning that even though the game will be down for a few hours, no new content will be implemented for gamers to look forward to.
Bungie’s newest title, Destiny 2, will launch this September on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Dont miss out on the live gameplay reveal taking place on May 18th.
