Harmonix has announced that the popular rock artist, ‘Van Halen,’ will be featured in their upcoming game, Rock Band 4 – A first for the Rock Band franchise.
The first-track to be featured in Rock Band 4 will be Van Halen’s Panama, with more promised to be released post-launch as downloadable content.
“For years we’ve wanted to bring Van Halen’s music to Rock Band,” Stated Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak. “Not only are the songs incredible in their own right, but they’re amazingly fun to play and perform, whether you’re on guitar, bass, drums, or vocals.”
Rock Band 4 is scheduled to launch on October 6th, 2015 for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Pre-ordering the game from Amazon will net you 30 downloadable tracks for free.
