Today at E3, Rare has shown us a first glimpse at their upcoming pirate-theme MMO Sea of Thieves.
From what they’ve shown, it looks like you’re be able to sail the vast ocean with your friends, battle monstrous sharks, and dive into mysterious wrecks in order to find hidden treasures lying deep within.
You’ll be able to find mysterious maps, clues, and more as you explore islands in order to find all sorts of pirate booty, while fending off enemy players in your ship and fighting monsters on land. Spooky trap-filled caves also litter said island, often filled with immense danger, but also harboring even greater treasures.
