Microsoft is delaying Crackdown 3 until Spring 2018.
The title was originally scheduled to launch on November 7th, 2017, alongside the Xbox One X. It appears that development of the game isn’t quite completed, and the team would like to take extra time to provide their fans with a quality experience. While the explanation for the delay is relatively vague,
Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, made a statement on Twitter regarding the news. “It’s always disappointing to move a date. We are very committed to shipping Crackdown 3 to the level of quality the fans deserve.”
As a title that supports the Xbox One X’s hardware, by natively rendering visuals at 4K 30fps, this one hits a bit deep for those looking to purchase the new console. The lineup for the games that support the Xbox One X’s hardware is dwindling, with titles like Halo 5: Guardians, Minecraft, and Forza Motorsport 7 charting the list to name a few.
