Multiple sourcesĀ have leaked the existence of the Xbox One X: Project Scorpio Edition earlier today, indicating that a special edition console will be available for day one purchasers.
Similarly to when the Xbox One launched on November 21st, 2013, consumers will be able to grab a “Day One” edition console in the form of the Xbox One X: Project Scorpio Edition. The Project Scoprio Edition will featureĀ florescent green “Project Scorpio” text sprawled out on the Xbox One controller and the front of the Xbox One X console. Sources close to InformedPixel also indicate that the Project Scorpio Edition may sport a 2 TB hard drive, with 1 TB being the standard for non-Project Scorpio Edition hardware.
An official announcement should be underway on Sunday, August 20th, when Microsoft opens up pre-orders for the console. Stay tuned to InformedPixel for the latest news regarding this announcement.
