A brand new trailer for the upcoming Live2D Adult Visual Novel titled ‘Order Us‘ has been released. The games creators, Argent, consist of just 3 team members, making this Indie game a truly remarkable feat.
What is Order Us?
Whilst there isn’t much information regarding the development history or studio behind Order Us, the official site does offer a glimpse of what the game has to offer. The first part of the game description reads as follows:
In mid-century Europe, a small café has a lot more than baking going on behind the curtains. The staff is made up exclusively of adorable girls dressed like menu items! The listed prices seem ludicrously expensive to any newcomers, appearing to cost several hundred times what one would expect. Yet the regulars argue that these rates are the best in town. At least, that’s what your dreams look like. In reality, the grand opening is two weeks away and you’ve managed to hire only two service girls, neither of which are capable of caring for the customers!
With a set of problems and only two weeks to fix them, you fear that you might not have a single usable employee on opening day. You’ll have to choose which girl to spend your time with, and how to go about addressing their quirks in preparation for opening day. The precedent you set will surely have consequences, not only for the future of the business, but also in establishing what a boss-employee relationship looks like in your establishment.
Why was the trailer released early?
The new trailer was released suddenly due to the unfortunate news that Order Us will no longer be releasing on Steam. For unknown reasons, Steam has decided to halt the release of the previously approved game just 3 days before it was planned to go on sale.
Whilst a reason behind the decision was given by Steam, it does not seem to have any relation to the content of the game, leading many to believe that the decision to halt release was made in error. You can find further information in the thread below:
