Astro, one of the leading manufacturers of gaming headsets, unveiled the new A10 headset featuring artwork from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The company has entered into a partnership with Nintendo, where the company plans to produce new headsets and accessories from Nintendo’s popular franchises. At this time, Super Mario and Legend of Zelda are planned for a variety of speaker tags and headsets, with more planned post-launch.
“With our new wired headset for the Nintendo Switch, we celebrate the iconic gaming experience that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild delivers to a new generation of gamers,” said Cris Lee, head of licensing & partnerships at ASTRO Gaming. “We worked closely with Nintendo to create a stylish, uncompromising audio experience, with a special new chat adapter designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch. With the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app, players can chat with their friends while playing compatible games at home or on the go.”
The headset is designed for use with the Nintendo Switch console but should be compatible with other platforms. The current A10 headset is designed to operate with the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Mobile, and PC/Mac.
The Legend of Zelda Astro A10 headset is scheduled to release this Holiday season.
